Structural
Moving
Relocating
structures is the world’s oldest and largest recycling industry. The
service provided by structural movers creates and saves jobs, preserves
historic structures, prevents wasteful
demolition, reduces material to landfills, provides increased
opportunities for affordable housing and a whole multitude of additional
benefits.
The most common
reason for moving a structure is due to land redevelopment or rezoning.
When a property is large enough to subdivide and the structure is
situated on the property in a way that limits the potential of the
property, the owner or developer can move the existing structure to fit
the redevelopment. This makes good economical sense when you consider
the cost of building a new structure or the cost to demolish the
existing structure. Maybe you would just like to build a new home on
your property and would like us to take away your existing home in order
to save on demolition costs. We would be happy to see if we can match
your home with one of our customers in your area.
There are other
reasons you may want to consider moving a structure. Maybe you want to
save a historical building or maybe you are looking for an affordable
way to obtain a new home for your family or as an investment
opportunity. By moving a structure, you can save 30%-50% off the cost
of building a new structure, have the benefit of instant equity when
your project is complete and you can decrease your occupancy time in
half. The return on your investment will have many rewards. Take a
look at our Buildings For Sale if you
are interested in what buildings we currently have available.

Structural
Raising
The most common
reason for raising a structure is to replace or repair a deteriorating
foundation or install a new foundation when there is none. When a
foundation begins to fail due to poor construction, cracking, flooding
or old age, it will cause many problems
with the structure. The house will become out of level, the floors
will start to slope and doors and windows will not open and shut
properly. Until the foundation is replaced, the damage will
continue to compound.
There are many other
reasons why customers have contracted us to raise their structures.
Many of our customers wanted to turn their crawlspace into a basement to
create more living space. This is the most cost effective way to double
the square footage and increase the value of a home. Others wanted to
take a below minimum height basement and turn it into a full height
basement. Some wanted to take a partial basement and turn it into a
full basement. Others wanted to create a parking area and storage under
their house and others simply wanted a better view.
